Dan Keogh, CPA, CA, TEP, CPA (Illinois) - Principal
Bio
I am, first and foremost, a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (a Chartered Accountant before the accounting organizations merged). Additionally, I am a Certified Public Accountant (U.S.) and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
I started my career in 2007, working with a local mid-sized firm at the time (Lohn Caulder LLP). In 2010 I switched to a larger firm (Wolrige Mahon LLP, now Baker Tilly), joining their tax group, where I worked until 2016. In addition to the usual stuff that accountants do (personal tax returns, corporate financial statements etc.), I had specialized in Canadian family income tax planning, estate planning and estate administration, US tax filing, and structuring/re-structuring in relation to business purchase and sale transactions. I started my solo practice in 2017.
I was born and raised in White Rock; I’d been living in Vancouver from 2007 to 2022 and since then I’ve been living in Coquitlam.
